If we prove ourselves unto God then we have judged ourselves and avoid the judgement of condemnation that will fall upon the world. The judgement of the house of God has already begun for we often face fiery trials wherein we are judged by our own words and actions.
We can draw near unto the Lord by trusting with a true heart for He is faithful that promised. But if we willfully turn away we can expect a fearful judgement from Him that will not wait. Let us follow after peace and the sanctification that is the gift and grace of God and have respect unto the birthright that Jesus has claimed for us.
Some men’s sins or good works are manifest to the world and their judgement is not hid. Other men, their sins, good works and judgements remain hidden until the time of judgement will reveal all. Jesus has the gifts in hand for those who follow him, rewards for today as well as for the world to come.
In that day of judgement, the fire will try our works, did we do the works of God? Or did we work on something else? Let us do the works of God, edifying the Body of Christ and bringing the saints on to perfection as full grown children of God.
