Kingdom of God (Heaven)

Kingdom of God

Jesus went about in all Galilee, preaching the good news of the kingdom of God.  The kingdom of God is not seen by the worldly, for the kingdom of God is within true believers.  The kingdom of heaven contains profound depths whereby we can reach even unto God’s third heaven.

We enter the kingdom of heaven when we are baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit.  A new man holy and pure, conceived by God, begins to grow in our heart.  He has given and continues to give us spiritual blessings in the heavens that are in Christ.

We are citizens of the kingdom of heaven, let us live in it as we walk in this world.  To walk in the kingdom of heaven we must seek His will spiritually and naturally.  For this is the kingdom of heaven that we have sanctified Christ in our hearts as Lord.  He promised to dwell in us and be our God and we shall be His people.

Mat 4:23 RV And Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease and all manner of sickness among the people.

Gospel; G2098

Euaggelion;   yoo-ang-ghel’-ee-on

From the same as G2097; a good message, that is, the gospel: – gospel.

Total KJV occurrences: 77

Jesus went about in all Galilee, preaching the good news of the kingdom of God.

Luk 17:20-21 RV and being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, the kingdom of God cometh not with observation:  (21) neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.

The kingdom of God is not seen by the worldly, for the kingdom of God is within true believers.

2Co 12:1-4 RV  I must needs glory, though it is not expedient; but I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.  (2)  I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago (whether in the body, I know not; or whether out of the body, I know not; God knows), such a one caught up even to the third heaven.  (3)  And I know such a man (whether in the body, or apart from the body, I know not; God knows),  (4)  how that he was caught up into Paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

The kingdom of heaven contains profound depths whereby we can reach even unto God’s third heaven.

Joh 3:1-13 RV  Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:  (2)  The same came unto him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these signs that thou do, except God be with him.  (3)  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  (4)  Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  (5)  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  (6)  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  (7)  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born anew.  (8)  The wind blows where it wants, and you hear the voice thereof, but know not whence it comes, and whither it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.  (9)  Nicodemus answered and said unto him, how can these things be?  (10)  Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou the teacher of Israel, and understand not these things?  (11)  Verily, verily, I say unto thee, we speak that we do know, and bear witness of that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.  (12)  If I told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you heavenly things?  (13)  And no man hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, even the Son of man, which is in heaven.

We enter the kingdom of heaven when we are baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit.  A new man holy and pure, conceived by God, begins to grow in our heart.

Eph 1:3 RV  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ:

He has given and continues to give us spiritual blessings in the heavens that are in Christ.

Php 3:15-20 RV  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye are otherwise minded, even this shall God reveal unto you:  (16)  only, whereunto we have already attained, by that same rule let us walk.  (17)  Brethren, be ye imitators together of me, and mark them which so walk even as ye have us for an ensample.  (18)  For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:  (19)  whose end is perdition, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.  (20)  For our citizenship is in heaven; from whence also we wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Citizenship;  G4175

Politeuma;   pol-it’-yoo-mah

We are citizens of the kingdom of heaven, let us live there as we walk in this world.

Mat 6:9-10 RV  After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  (10)  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.

To walk in the kingdom of heaven we must seek His will spiritually and naturally.

1Pe 3:14-15 RV  But and if ye should suffer for righteousness’ sake, blessed are ye: and fear not their fear, neither be troubled;  (15)  but sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord: being ready always to give answer to every man that asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, yet with meekness and fear:

For this is the kingdom of heaven that we have sanctified Christ in our hearts as Lord.

2Co 6:16 RV  And what agreement hath a temple of God with idols? for we are a temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

He promised to dwell in us and be our God and we shall be His people.

The truth Richard has shared in this blog needs to be considered by every believer for, we are living in a time that we must ask ourselves where our allegiance lies. With God or with man? When we accepted Christ did we accept His kingdom, commit ourselves to His government, make our citizenship with Him and His family? Or, are we still hanging on to our nationalities, societies, and traditions. Are our minds given to the governments of men and do we support them over Christ? Those are hard questions yet, isn’t that what the early believers had to address? They did that, and more. They were all Jews and they left their Judaism behind. They left their traditions behind. They obeyed God rather than men and made their home with Yeshua. The fact that a person leaves their birth citizenship and becomes a citizen of heaven once receiving the Holy Spirit was taught by Jesus to His disciples. “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.” (Matt 19:29) Abraham looked for the city of God, not of man. “For he (Abraham) waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” (Hebrews 11:10) We live in a day which we need to make a decision on who our inheritance is with. Where our citizenship lies and who our mother is. “But the Jerusalem ABOVE is free, which is the mother of us all.” (Gal 4:26) ” “Then I, John, say the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Rev 21:2)
We need to reckon ourselves as sojourners on earth, children of the promise, participants in Abraham’s inheritance, children of the Al mighty God, citizens of His kingdom and make our abode with Him to be apart of His chosen city, the New Jerusalem. Always remembering, it’s not of this earth. Amen!
