Jesus in the Old Testament

We know His name is Yahweh (Jehovah) and His son’s name is Yashua (Jesus) but the Old Testament prophets did not know Jesus name.  The counsel of peace is between both Father and Son always, for they are united.  There are two thrones, the Father’s throne is in third heaven and the Son’s throne is on Earth.

The ark of the covenant is a beautiful picture looking into third heaven with the two angels representing Father and Son united in peace overshadowing the mercy seat.  Jesus was the beginning of the creation of God, the Father created Jesus first in His own image, then through Jesus they created everything else.

The Father worked through Jesus to create the worlds and all that is therein.  Our new life is unto God of whom are all and through Jesus Christ through whom are all.  Father and Son are not equal, Jesus tells us the Father is greater.  Jesus is the family name of God, we are baptized into His name, into His family.

Pro 30:4 KJV  Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?

We know His name is Yahweh (Jehovah) and His son’s name is Yashua (Jesus) but the Old Testament prophets did not know Jesus name.

Zec 6:12-13 RV  and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:  (13)  even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

The counsel of peace is between both Father and Son always, for they are united.

Rev 3:20-22 RV  Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  (21)  He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne.  (22)  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.

There are two thrones, the Father’s throne is in third heaven and the Son’s throne is on Earth.

Exo 25:17-22 RV  And thou shalt make a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.  (18)  And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold; of beaten work shalt thou make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat.  (19)  And make one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end: of one piece with the mercy-seat shall ye make the cherubim on the two ends thereof.  (20)  And the cherubim shall spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.  (21)  And thou shalt put the mercy-seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.  (22)  And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

The ark of the covenant is a beautiful picture looking into third heaven with the two angels representing Father and Son united in peace overshadowing the mercy seat.

Rev 3:14-15 RV  And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God:  (15)  I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

Jesus was the beginning of the creation of God, the Father created Jesus first in His own image, then through Jesus they created everything else.

Heb 1:1-2 RV  God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners,  (2)  hath at the end of these days spoken unto us in his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds;

Joh 1:10-12 KJV  He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.  (11)  He came unto his own, and his own received him not.  (12)  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

The Father worked through Jesus to create the worlds and all that is therein.

1Co 8:5-6 RV  For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or on earth; as there are gods many, and lords many;  (6)  yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we unto him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we through him.

Our new life is unto God of whom are all and through Jesus Christ through whom are all.

Joh 14:28 KJV  Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Father and Son are not equal, Jesus tells us the Father is greater.

Eph 3:13-15 KJV  Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.  (14)  For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  (15)  Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

Jesus is the family name of God, we are baptized into His name, into His family.
