Divine Expression

Moses asked to see God’s glory.  The Lord proclaims His name to Moses and describes himself with mercy and grace listed first.  We are born again by the direct action of the living Jesus who is the Logos, or Divine Expression who lives and dwells with us.  When Jesus through the Holy Spirit dwells in our hearts he works to help us cleanse and purify ourselves unto righteousness.

We need to purify our lives and not be joined to those who follow the doctrines of men and not God.  All those still in Adam follow after their own lusts but we seek to do the will of God that we may be in Christ.

The time is coming when death will be defeated.  Death will be no more and God will dwell with us.  We can now be free of the fear of death by faith in the promises of God.

Exo 33:18-23 KJV

(18)  And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

(19)  And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

(20)  And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

(21)  And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

(22)  And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

(23)  And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Moses asked to see God’s glory.

Exo 34:5-7 KJV

(5)  And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.

(6)  And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

(7)  Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

1Pe 1:17-25 RV

(17)  And if ye call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to each man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear:

(18)  knowing that ye were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers;

(19)  but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, even the blood of Christ:

(20)  who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was manifested at the end of the times for your sake,

(21)  who through him are believers in God, which raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God.

(22)  Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from the heart fervently:

(23)  having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word [Logos] of God, which liveth and abideth.

(24)  For, All flesh is as grass, And all the glory thereof as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower falleth:

(25)  But the word [rhema] of the Lord abideth for ever. And this is the word [rhema] of good tidings which was preached unto you.
