Hidden Man of the Heart

It is in the sight of God of great price when we adorn our hidden man of the heart with a meek and quiet spirit.  If we can overcome, He gives us a new name, a new character created in righteousness and holiness.  He calls us living stones, stones that He uses to build His ecclesia, the Church of Christ.

It is the actions and thoughts of our inner man that makes us clean or unclean.  It is the inner man of the heart that enters into the kingdom of God.  We are now part of the Kingdom of the Heavens; our citizenship and our lives are now in His heaven.  When we seek His kingdom, it is the Father’s pleasure to give us spiritual treasure as well as meeting our worldly needs.

We are already blessed to be living in His heavenly places.  When we delight in the Lord and study His word, He prospers us in what we do.  In Christ, we are His branches in the kingdom and He cleanses us to be more fruitful.  The river of the water of life flows out of the throne of God and wells up in our hearts bringing healing and spiritual blessings to us all.

1Pe 3:1-4 RV  In like manner, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, even if any obey not the word, they may without the word be gained by the behaviour of their wives;  (2)  beholding your chaste behaviour coupled with fear.  (3)  Whose adorning let it not be the outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on apparel;  (4)  but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible apparel of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

It is in the sight of God of great price when we adorn our hidden man of the heart with a meek and quiet spirit.

Rev 2:17 RV  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knoweth but he that receiveth it.

If we can overcome, He gives us a new name, a new character created in righteousness and holiness.

1Pe 2:1-5 RV  Putting away therefore all wickedness, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,  (2)  as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation;  (3)  if ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious:  (4)  unto whom coming, a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but with God elect, precious,  (5)  ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

He calls us living stones, stones that He uses to build His ecclesia, the Church of Christ.

Mat 15:17-20 RV  Perceive ye not, that whatsoever goeth into the mouth passeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?  (18)  But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart; and they defile the man.  (19)  For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings:  (20)  these are the things which defile the man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not the man.

Mat 12:33-37

It is the actions and thoughts of our inner man that makes us clean or unclean.

Luk 17:20-21 RV  And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:  (21)  neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.

John 3:3-8

It is the inner man of the heart that enters into the kingdom of God.

Php 3:20-21 RV  For our citizenship is in heaven; from whence also we wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:  (21)  who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, that it may be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself.

We are now part of the Kingdom of the Heavens; our citizenship and our lives are now in His heaven.

Luk 12:27-34 RV  Consider the lilies, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin; yet I say unto you, Even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  (28)  But if God doth so clothe the grass in the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more shall he clothe you, O ye of little faith?  (29)  And seek not ye what ye shall eat, and what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.  (30)  For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: but your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.  (31)  Howbeit seek ye his kingdom, and these things shall be added unto you.  (32)  Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.  (33)  Sell that ye have, and give alms; make for yourselves purses which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief draweth near, neither moth destroyeth.  (34)  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

When we seek His kingdom, it is the Father’s pleasure to give us spiritual treasure as well as meeting our worldly needs.

Eph 1:3 RV  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ:

We are already blessed to be living in His heavenly places.

Psa 1:1-6 RV  BOOK I Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  (2)  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  (3)  And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that bringeth forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also doth not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.  (4)  The wicked are not so; but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.  (5)  Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.  (6)  For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the wicked shall perish.

When we delight in the Lord and study His word, He prospers us in what we do.

Joh 15:1-5 RV  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.  (2)  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit.  (3)  Already ye are clean because of the word which I have spoken unto you.  (4)  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me.  (5)  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing.

In Christ, we are His branches in the kingdom and He cleanses us to be more fruitful.

Rev 22:1-2 RV  And he shewed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,  (2)  in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Joh 4:13-14 RV  Jesus answered and said unto her, Every one that drinketh of this water shall thirst again:  (14)  but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up unto eternal life.

The river of the water of life flows out of the throne of God and wells up in our hearts bringing healing and spiritual blessings to us all.
