The Lord promised that He would give us a new heart and a new spirit so that we may do and keep His will. Everyone who is thirsty for more from God is invited to seek Him that their soul shall live. He promises a time of refreshing and a rest for those who are weary. He promised to give us His Spirit that we might prophecy and have visions and dreams.
Jesus called it the promise of my Father that we would be clothed with power from God. The Father fulfilled His promise on the day of Pentecost when Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit and established the Kingdom of the Heavens. He made his promises to the house of Israel and all that are afar off, that’s us we are afar off.
A father of many nations is Abraham including all of us who hope in the promises of God. The Holy Spirit that we receive is the earnest, the beginning of our inheritance in Jesus’ kingdom of light.
Eze 11:17-20 RV
(17) Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD: I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
(18) And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
(19) And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
(20) that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
Eze 36:24-27 RV

(25) And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
(26) A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you art heart of flesh.
(27) And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Isa 55:1-3 RV
(1) Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
(2) Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
(3) Incline your ear, and come unto me; hear, and your soul shall live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Everyone who is thirsty for more from God is invited to seek Him that their soul shall live.
Isa 28:10-12 RV
(10) For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, there a little.
(11) Nay, but by men of strange lips and with another tongue will he speak to this people:
(12) to whom he said, This is the rest, give ye rest to him that is weary; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
He promises a time of refreshing and a rest for those who are weary.
Isa 44:1-3 RV
(1) Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
(2) Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who will help thee: Fear not, O Jacob my servant; and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
(3) For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
Joe 2:28-29 RV
(28) And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
(29) and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
He promised to give us His Spirit that we might prophecy and have visions and dreams.
Luk 24:48-49 RV
(48) Ye are witnesses of these things.
(49) And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.
Jesus called it the promise of my Father that we would be clothed with power from God.

(5) For John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence.
(6) They therefore, when they were come together, asked him, saying, Lord, dost thou at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?
(7) And he said unto them, It is not for you to know times or seasons, which the Father hath set within his own authority.
(8) But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
He promised that we would receive power when He baptized us with the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:14-18 RV
(14) But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spake forth unto them, saying, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and give ear unto my words.
(15) For these are not drunken, as ye suppose; seeing it is but the third hour of the day;
(16) but this is that which hath been spoken by the prophet Joel;
(17) And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:
(18) Yea and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.
Act 2:32-39 RV
(32) This Jesus did God raise up, whereof we all are witnesses.
(33) Being therefore by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath poured forth this, which ye see and hear.
(34) For David ascended not into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
(35) Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet.
(36) Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.
(37) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?
(38) And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
(39) For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
He made his promises to the house of Israel and all that are afar off, that’s us we are afar off.
Rom 4:16-18 RV
(16) For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all
(17) (as it is written, A father of many nations have I made thee) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth the things that are not, as though they were.
(18) Who in hope believed against hope, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, So shall thy seed be.
A father of many nations is Abraham including all of us who hope in the promises of God.
Eph 1:10-23 RV
(10) unto a dispensation of the fulness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him, I say,
(11) in whom also we were made a heritage, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his will;
(12) to the end that we should be unto the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ:
(13) in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation,–in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
(14) which is an earnest of our inheritance, unto the redemption of God’s own possession, unto the praise of his glory.
(15) For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and which ye shew toward all the saints,
(16) cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
(17) that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;
(18) having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
(19) and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might
(20) which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,
(21) far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
(22) and he put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church,
(23) which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
